Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available backend architectures that meet business requirements
  2. Define and enforce engineering standards and reusable frameworks to improve code quality and maintainability across teams
  3. Lead technical decision-making and provide architectural guidance to multiple engineering teams
  4. Translate complex business needs into reliable, high-performance backend solutions
  5. Champion best practices in microservices architecture, observability, and code governance to enhance system robustness
  6. Mentor and develop engineers to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Job Requirements
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
    2. Minimum 8 years of backend development experience with a proven track record in large-scale, distributed systems.
    3. Strong hands-on expertise in Java or Go, with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot or WebFlux.
    4. Skilled in working with messaging systems (e.g. Kafka) and databases (SQL, NoSQL, Redis).
    5. Deep understanding of scalability, system resilience, and fault tolerance principles.
    6. Ability to define and enforce coding standards, CI/CD practices, and monitoring strategies.
    7. Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous for liaising with regional counterparts.
