Lead / Technology Developer (Polymer Chemistry)

1. Initiate, perform and support key developments of products, materials, processes, technology modules and methods within the framework of feasibility studies, business cases and/or projects, incl. experimental work and coordination of lab, pilot or production trials.
2. Continuously ensure and drive the development of knowledge within sub technology field (width & depth).
3. Contribute to and initiate invention disclosures.
4. Perform literature and patent searches in consultation with the related responsible persons, support FTO analysis from a technological perspective.
5. Provide input to the relevant Technology Roadmap(s) while making investment recommendations for technology development.
6. Actively build up and maintain internal and external networks, with the focus on technological aspects incl. scouting and screening of new raw materials (e.g. suppliers, institutions, academia).
7. Support recruiting and technical guidance of students or apprentices.

1. 1. PhD degree in Science or Engineering discipline or Master degree in Science or Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of experience preferably as polymer chemist with focus on polymerize and formulate new adhesive solutions.
   2. Experience in manufacturing processes of polymeric films, nanostructured surfaces and functional layers (e.g. organic solutions and dispersions).
   3. Work with solvents and flammable and toxic materials.
   4. Work in chemical labs (preferably in clean room environment).
   5. Use of analytical lab equipment for material property determination (e.g. rheology and microscopy).
   6. Preferably work experience with adhesives or pressure sensitive adhesives.
