Job Scam Awareness

Protecting Job Seekers Across Singapore

At Search Staffing, your safety and trust matter. As job scams become increasingly sophisticated in Singapore, we’re committed to helping you identify and avoid fraudulent job offers. This page provides key information, tips, and resources to protect yourself and report suspicious activity.

What Are Job Scams?

Job scams involve fraudulent job offers made with the intent to deceive individuals into providing money, personal information, or both. These scams often impersonate legitimate recruitment agencies or employers and may use real job titles to appear credible.

  • Fake job offers that promise high pay with little effort
  • Requests for upfront payments for "processing", "training", or "equipment"
  • Emails or WhatsApp messages from unofficial accounts claiming to be recruiters
  • Job listings on social media that redirect to phishing websites
  • Urgent messages pressuring you to act immediately

Search Staffing never charges candidates for job applications or interviews.
