Our client is a leading American brand name in the field of consumer electronics, with more than 100 years in existence and more than 2,000 employees globally. We have an immediate opening for a 1 year contract position of:
R&D Engineering Assistant (1 year contract)
APPLY NOWKey Responsibilities
- Supporting Engineers in Singapore’s Development centre to build and support prototypes, test fixtures and development setups internally and with external vendors.
- Conduct testing and validation of new products, prototypes, and engineering concepts.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and technical documentation.
- Manage procurement of laboratory equipment, tools, and consumables required for development activities.
- Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Job Requirements

- Diploma or ITE qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical fixture design, PCB CAD design, or prototype development.
- Practical skills in soldering and working with electronic/mechatronic assemblies.
- Experience coordinating with vendors for prototype fabrication, PCB assembly, or test setup development.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance, purchasing activities, and product testing; experience in spot welding, battery products, or mechatronics testing is anadvantage.

- Office location will be at Alexandra Technopark
- Immediate vacancy
- Working hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm
- 1 month contract completion bonus
