Senior Electrical Engineer - SMPS

1. Lead various electrical subjects – product testing, failure analysis, engineering improvements, quality, and reliability matters.
   Develop test plan & procedures, conduct hand-on tests on SMPS products, circuits, and components.
2. Collect test data, generate test report, and maintain good documentation.
3. Design test systems with software and hardware to achieve test automation.
4. Conduct FMEA to identify critical and high-risk electrical design, perform evaluation test and risk mitigation.
5. Conduct root cause analysis, identify failure mechanism, derive countermeasures.
6. Collaborate with cross functional teams to sustain SMPS products through their lifecycles.

1. Degree or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalents.
2. 7+ years of experience in developing, sustaining, manufacturing and testing on electronic products, especially power electronics or switch mode power supply (SMPS).
3. Fundamental knowledge of switch mode power supply – topology, characterization, testing, simulation, safety, and compliance regulations.
4. Able to interpret schematics and circuits, understand component functions and analyze their electrical stresses.
5. Experienced in qualifying electronic components and systems, understand common processes and methods in electronics design and manufacturing.
6. Hand-on skills in environmental testing and test automation, lab equipment and instruments.
7. Experienced in project management, work scheduling, task delegation and stakeholder communication.
8. Conversant with EDA tools with Altium highly desirable.
